THE ROSE PRESS
~ A cowboy I once knew.
The Paris Match was written in the 1980s and 90s with the exception of one story. These stories are spare . The theme of exile is present in all of them. The title story was written in and about the Paris that was tense at the dawn of a new era of Terrorism in the 1970s. All of the stories are in the picaresque tradition, in that the heroine is always escaping consequences due to pure luck or failing upwards. The stories are about coming of age in another country, and the freedom and burden of being in exile.
More is named after the movie of the same name as love is an addiction.
Cigarets is about that first love, cigarettes.
